	What is Halal? Halal is an Arabic word meaning lawful or permitted. The term Halal meats indicates that strict Koran guidelines have been followed during harvest and processing of the animals. Just as "Kosher" means that meat is processed correctly according to Jewish law; likewise, "Halal" means that meat is processed correctly according to the Muslin faith.
